First Aid - 19:23 30 Jan 06 I spoke to my colleague at work.

He suggested just looking at the St. Johns thing. he can't do us a deal I'm afraid.

Re:First Aid - 19:57 30 Jan 06 Thank you for trying Lemming, much appreciated.

Before we go further on this could we please find out who already has afficial first aid training that is still current. I believe the 4 day course from St Johns & The Red Cross both last three years so we are only interested if you have the certificate to back up your training. Please post with details of when you need to renew and if your likely to get it paid for again. Thank you.

Looking forward it's interesting to compare the courses...

St Johns - Appointed Person training (1 day) is good at £85.00 + vat however St Johns - First Aid at Work (4 days) at £242.00 + vat does seem to have a couple of things that I personally think are a must to have such as covering fractures. We can't afford that money though

However! I also checked out the Red Cross, they seem to have different prices depending on if you are the public or business, we could send someone on a Standard first aid course (4 days) for £60 inc VAT!
I bought some bread this morning. Ciabatta? No, it was a fixed price

Re:First Aid - 22:30 30 Jan 06 The one day one should be okay for what you need.

Re:First Aid - 22:42 30 Jan 06 No worries Timo, fully understand

I'm a fire marshal too but there is not much call for that in skating... unless you have rockets attached to your skates... but then you really want someone else to be the marshal
