End of Wednesday Fleet sessions - 17:28 29 May 05 Jane asked me to post this up here so that people are aware of the situaton.

It looks like the sessions at Fleet on Wednesdays are going to be closing down. With summer now here numbers have been getting less and less and the Fleet Lesiure Center are starting to ask questions.

There is no fixed date for the last session at the moment so I would like to encourage everyone that can to try and support the sessions at Fleet by going whenever you can.

I would like to extend a huge thank you to Jane and Mick for running these sessions.

I will post up any more information as I get it. Feel so much better for a skate tonight, still can't talk but enough energy to go back to work tomorrow

it is a shame, perhaps it could be on another day if that might improve things?
it has been a good session and introduced us to new skaters who can't make Saturdays in Camberley.

anyone got any ideas?

Re:End of Wednesday Fleet sessions - 22:03 29 May 05 Personally, I was doing the London Skate on Wednesdays for years before I found out about Fleet. Fleet is absolutely fantastic for me throughout the winter months but I will always go back to the London Skate in the summer I'm afraid.

Saturdays and Wednesdays are two days that I regulary skate and if Fleet moved to a Tuesday I'm not sure I could commit three days a week of skating. This however is just me and shouldn't affect everyone. Feel so much better for a skate tonight, still can't talk but enough energy to go back to work tomorrow

skating in circles just isn't as much fun as charging down the road with music pumping!
