London Battle Competition - 14 June 2008 - 22:57 24 May 08

Ever heard of a Park asking Skaters to skate? no, neither did we until Battersea Park asked the London skating community to organise some skating for their anniversary party on 14th June.
The slalomers were going to do a demo as usual, however we decided it would be a whole lot more fun and entertaining if we used the time and space to have a local London fun battle. SO, it will be along the same structure as the international competitions, but it will be smaller, and a hell of a lot more informal and fun and DEFINITELY more badly judged...
The event will be 11-5pm, and we will be holding battle rounds, with other demo's happening in between. No level is too bad for the competition - you can do forwards crisscross? great! come along. this is THE competition where you don't need to contribute to costs of running it (ie, no entry fee), so come along, take part and have a good old laugh.
... I'm sure they would like more slalomers to take part and much support if anyone is up that way.
