We had a fabulous skate.

I like that route. It was the route of the first London Skate that I did earlier this year, and having done it again as the last Wednesday skate of the year, it was a great finish to the season.

Thanks Red for being brave enough to chance going and also for the transport.

I coasted in along the last stretch and was the last punter in on the last skate. It seemed poetic somehow !!

Pope was handing out Santa skate flyers, so I asked about the tickets. Should be ready in about 1 - 2 weeks.

Well that was Summer of 2008....looking forward to 2009 already.

Can't believe we got a skate in last night after that drizzle all afternoon - just goes to show you can never tell! It it was a great end to the WNS year.
Really enjoyed some of the smooth bits on that route, despite the stop and start at the beginning, waiting for buses!
