Why it's Inline-Skating and not Rollerblading - 10:45 01 Mar 10
I think most of us know that Rollerblade is a company name and that the correct term is Inline-Skating but the extract below gives an interesting twist.
Contrary to my thinking, Rollerblade actually want us to say Inline-Skating instead of their business name. It seems the more people that use it in the wrong context means that they are more likely to loose the trademark! An interesting list of other companies this has happened to as well.
