Skate the Autobahn - 18 July 2010 - 18:14 04 Mar 10
For those of you that don't read WoW...
Our friends in Germany send word of a unique and interesting event: The people of the Ruhr metropolis and their guests and visitors will hold a unique celebration of everyday life right in the middle of this major motorway July 18, 2010, from 11:00 to 17:00 when the road will be blocked for traffic in both directions. The track from Dortmund to Duisburg will become the world's longest banquet table. 20,000 tables spread over 60 kilometres will become a meeting place of cultures, generations and nationalities. At the same time, people will be able to ride the opposite track from Duisburg to Dortmund using anything that has wheels but no engine. This includes skates of all kinds! Fantastic! Unfortunately it clashes with Eastbourne Extreme
