I was thinking that seeing as there's talk of doing marathons next year I could take people through stride 2 and stride 3 (going faster and looking cooler) and we could workshop forward crossover turns. A few of us can do them but we all need to refine them to get quicker around the turns and I don't think anyone underpushes at the mo! Jagshemash!

not a bad idea, certainly could do with getting my head round stride 3,
had a go at it when i was having lessons at Citiskate, but never really kept it up,

anything to improve my efficiency for night skates/ marathons would be good!

oh and regarding crossovers probably worth pushing ppl to do them clockwise,
as that's always the weaker side, too much rink skating makes ppl forget that on the road they have to turn both ways at speed, especially if you're attempting a right hand turn!

I'd really like to learn Stride 3 at some stage too.
