Affiliates Page - 14:18 20 Jun 06 You may have seen the deal we have with Go Travel Insurance where anyone buying travel insurance online after clicking the link gives cskate some money! There are actually a number of shops that we can set this up for very easily including a couple of skate shops.

What do people think about having an "Affiliates Page"? Obviously any skate shops would be listed first and would all give cskate some money (currently we have £8 and I haven't even told people about it yet). My only concern is I don't want people to think we are recommending one shop over another (especially skate shops) as some times the ones without affiliate programs are much better ships than the ones with! I bought some bread this morning. Ciabatta? No, it was a fixed price

Re:Affiliates Page - 18:09 20 Jun 06 I think it's a good idea to list them.. As you say people are not having their arms twisted up their backs, they can use whatever shop they prefer. The aim of having the affiliates page is that IF we use the affiliated shop then it gets logged against CSKATE, and that means CSKATE gets some dosh - not a bad thing in my mind.

The Affiliates Page could include an explanation of what the affiliates are, and how shopping with them helps Cskate. Also include a note that we are not making any recommendation that the affiliates are the cheapest or quickest suppliers.

People could then make their own decisions based on this.
