London Inline Marathon now 6th Aug 06 - 10:31 10 Jan 06 The date has now changed for the London Inline Marathon as it clashed with Eastbourne and another International race. The date is now 6th August 2006 and wil be the last inline event held at Lee Valley the circuit. The calendar has been updated. Oops... Re:London Inline Marathon now 6th Aug 06 - 11:00 10 Jan 06 Who wants to write the FAQ then!?

Merry, you have seen Lee Valley the circuit (Skate London was there) and it's a marathon (26 miles) around that

Re:London Inline Marathon now 6th Aug 06 - 12:23 10 Jan 06 Arh so it is exactly as the title indicates - You never know with these things!

Yeah I remember Lee Valley - In fact I was only thinking about Skate London the other day! Bizarre.....

So are you guys planning on doing this then? or is this purely for reference

Re:London Inline Marathon now 6th Aug 06 - 12:47 10 Jan 06 I did the half last year.

My recommendation - don't do the full - you'll likely die.

Re:London Inline Marathon now 6th Aug 06 - 13:30 10 Jan 06 For reference, I think I'll do the half again. I want to break an hour, preferably be below 55 minutes. Come on everyone - any idiot can get round this course 13 times! I proved it (and only fell over once).

Dan - do you want me to do a FAW for this (you can add it to the list of other FAQs I haven't written yet.)

Re:London Inline Marathon now 6th Aug 06 - 13:34 10 Jan 06 It’s a fantastic marathon, which is run on a cycle track in East London. All abilities compete and unlike Goodwood there is a professional timing system (ChampionChip), which will produce a lap-by-lap break down of your race. The course has a slight uphill and a couple of downhills but does not have the terrible crosswind of this years Goodwood marathon.

The half marathon is probably challenging enough for most people and the full marathon distance for the mentally challenged (that includes you Lemming)

I will see if I can do a quick FAQ

Re:London Inline Marathon now 6th Aug 06 - 13:40 10 Jan 06 I think you have practically written the FAQ

If you could write it up that would be great.
