Roller Stroll - 13:18 24 Mar 05 I wonder if anyone has any experiance of the Roller Stroll which is marketed as a 4-6mile street skate at 2pm every Sunday starting in Hyde Park and a great introduction to doing the London Skate on Wednesday nights!

Re:Roller Stroll - 17:11 26 Mar 05 I did the one-way RollerStroll to Richmond last year. It was increadibly slow, and very tiring - but only beacuse you're on your feet for such a long time.
Given a choice I'd rather do any of the other London street skates.
The roller-Stroll is a great introduction to street-skating, but I wouldn't recomeded it if you've done a few of teh other skates before. DaveySpeedstar.com

Re:Roller Stroll - 13:58 29 Mar 05 I did hear about it, but after listening to two women sounding off about it at the kiosk, I thought it sounded a little "racy" for me.

However, I do realise that I need to start somewhere - anybody got a "softees" streetskate they could recommend? Or alternatively, anybody fancy holding an old lady's hand up the road?

Re:Roller Stroll - 21:28 29 Mar 05 We'll build you a little hammock of some kind and strap it between a couple of the larger lads. Then we can just go wherever we want. (I wanted to say harness, but felt that it might have some kind of dodgy undertone..)

To be honest - street skating isn't that tricky as I found out when we did a little one around Camberely. Not sure how I'll copy with a quicker one though... ! Skate Monkey !

must do Camberley again soon.

Red don't worry, we can take you on a skate round Hyde Park which is what the Roller Stroll use to do, and then head down Kensington or to Buck Palace for some road work.
