Le Mans 2006 - Pit crew - 13:37 29 Mar 06 OK, time to sort out pit crew

The following people have expressed an interest in being pit crew at Le Mans...
- Bitwobbly's Sharon
- Evans's Mum
- Evans's Sister
- Evans's Sisters BF
- Lemming's Sarah

I really need to know if you still want to do this??

Check out the Packing list thread for details of what you should be taking with you. You will also need to pay for travel and two Cskate T-shirts (Le Mans specials).

As soon as we know this then I can start sorting out travel for you all!

Feel so much better for a skate tonight, still can't talk but enough energy to go back to work tomorrow

Re:Le Mans 2006 - Pit crew - 17:16 30 Mar 06 Mum is still up for it I think (although I'm not sure how she will react when i tell her she has to pay for a T-Shirt as well!) and whilst I think Cez and her BF might still travel out there, I don't think they want to pay to be allowed into the pits to help, so I think they are just going to go off into town instead

Re:Le Mans 2006 - Pit crew - 17:56 30 Mar 06 Fair enough, if people want to come as a holiday then that is fine but you might want to stay out of the way of the racers!

At the end of the day, we are only going to be there for two days in a campsite that tries very hard to cope but is not in the best of states after 10000 people decend on it and in a town which I hear is not the most picturesk of French towns so I wouldn't really sell it as a holiday

We can probably get away without the pit crew/person wearing a T-shirt. The rules say everyone should wear the same T-shirt but they weren't really enforcing it.

Looks like I have to start drawing up some plans for not having a pit crew
