Skate London 2006 - 16:16 08 Jun 06 I was just sent the following e-mail...

I think nearly all the Camberley Skaters will be in Eastbourne for Eastbourne Extreme this weekend but some of you that aren't going may be interested

Skatelondon 2006

The event is now confirmed.
Skatelondon will take place in southwark on the 22nd of July and will start at 10am. Unlike last year, this is a central location for the convienience of all.

Speed slalom, style slalom and high jump will be on the saturday. Other activities such as free jump, slide contest, tug of war, rollerbasketball may be done in between official disciplines and on Sunday where there will be a picnic and the usual sunday stroll.

T-shirts with the new 2006 logo will be on sale during the event.

Accomodation :

You can be accomodated in Mana Ash house (student halls)
It is situated fairly close to the event, near Southwark station.
They are flats of 6/7 rooms with a comunal kitchen.
Price per room per night : £19.50.

Book as soon as possible, the rooms go very quickly.

Re:Skate London 2006 - 16:22 08 Jun 06 It's a shame it's on the same days as Eastbourne Extreme as I would have liked to have gone to support it.

However, I am already committed to Eastbourne and am looking forward to that.
Can't be in two places at once- not even me with my talents!! .

I guess there's always next year for Skate London. ?

Re:Skate London 2006 - 17:01 08 Jun 06 Skate London was one of the first ever Skate events I went to last year after I started skating and it was very interesting to watch.

For anyone not going to Eastbourne I recommend it

I will be at Eastbourne this year so can't make it

If it outside again this year its great for Sunbathing.....or is that
Sunburning
