Le Mans 2006 - Charity - 21:58 19 Jun 06 This is a question to all of you whether your skating or not.

The London Lot (I like that phrase) are setting up some sponsorship pages to raise money for good causes and have included us in this. I know that we are all going to do Le Mans anyway however it is still a great chance to earn money. The idea is to set up a couple of justgiving pages for different charities and for all the london teams (and us) to pass these around to try and get sponsorship.

So, what do people think? I personally like the idea.

Does anyone have any opinions on the charities that should be chosen?

I'll feed this back to them tomorrow morning.

Re:Le Mans 2006 - Charity - 22:04 19 Jun 06 This one's for me. I don't feel that I can ask for sponsorship for this and then, less than a month later, ask for more for NCYPE, so I'm working with the NCYPE this year, and might do a charity LeMans next year. ! Skate Monkey !

Re:Le Mans 2006 - Charity - 10:51 20 Jun 06 Good idea but time is pressing - not sure I've got enough hours to do this as well as ironing t-shirts !!

Re:Le Mans 2006 - Charity - 20:25 26 Jun 06 Well if anyone is interested, three charities have been set up for Cystic Fibrosis Trust, Macmillan Cancer Support and Alone in London. Please pass them around friends or colleagues that may donate to these causes. Feel so much better for a skate tonight, still can't talk but enough energy to go back to work tomorrow - Twitter Status

Re:Le Mans 2006 - Charity - 02:08 27 Jun 06 small world. My dad helped to set up Alone in London and is still involved with it (one of the trustees). Its a very good charity and a worthwile cause. :: In the time of chimpanzees I was a monkey
