Blacktown City Games & NSW GP Speed Event - 06:14 07 Jul 06
Just got passed this; too late for me to go to it now, but as cskate is global someone might see if and find it usefull:
Just a quick reminder that the next round of the NSW GP series will run
this Sunday (July 9th) at the Blacktown Netball courts - Located in
International Peace Park with access to the courts being from the rear
of the Blacktown Swimming Pool Complex carpark.
This round of the GP series is also acting as the Speed Skating
competition for the 2006 Blacktown City Games so in addition to being
able to accumulate points towards the overall GP series there will also
be individual Blacktown City Games medals up for grabs.
Everyone is welcome on the day. If you are not a member of Skate
Australia you will still be able to skate and may even have the chance
to have a race.
All Skaters will need to have a helmet and gloves with them.
Warm -up is set for 9am and the race start is set for 9:30am. Expected
finish time is around 12pm.
Another GP race event is planned for Sunday July 23 at the Jamison Park
Netball courts (out near Penrith).
