BOURNEMOUTH '07 - 16:16 06 Mar 07 Hi guys,
my itinery this year is mental, and i'm already missing Le Mans, but can we fix a weekend in August to do Bournemouth, but definitely NOT the bank holiday weekend as we'll never manage to skate it due to punters in flip flops!!!

(also i'm messing about in boats the week of the bank holiday!)

Re:BOURNEMOUTH '07 - 08:23 08 Mar 07 Definitely be up for this as it's a great skate of about 20 miles in all.
However, when we went to do it last year theere were signs up saying skating was now banned along the prom for most of the day during the peak summer months. They were enforcing it too with police/officials/SS.

To be honest, it's a better idea do do it slightly off peak (May/June?) otherwise you get loads of little kids running into you which is good sport but the parents usually take a dim view!
