**** Goodwood Roller Marathon ****

Goodwood is a charity skating marathon race of 11 laps around the historic Goodwood motor circuit!
This event is brought to you by the good people at Camberley Skaters and welcomes all styles, ages and abilities of skater – as long as you can roll competently!
It offers the unique opportunity to test your speed and endurance on ininterrupted smooth, flat tarmac… while the pleasant countryside surroundings of prestigious Goodwood make for a very relaxed and family-friendly atmosphere. So once you are done hurtling around and around the track you can relax and spectate the rest of the race from the grassy banks, which provide a great spot for a post-skate picnic… or enjoying a well-earned notoriously huge ice cream 
Each lap is microchip timed so you’ll have a record of your performance.
As well as the full marathon distance there are also mini (2 laps) and midi (5 laps) length race entry available if 26 miles sounds daunting. Whereas for those who are keen and have crazy amounts of stamina there is a new mega-distance available of approximatley 100km (26 laps!)
Participants are predominantly inline skaters and quaddies but last year also saw a number of longboard skateboarders.

Adults £15, children 16 or under £10, or Mini race £5 (all ages).
Price includes the chip timing and race mementos as awell as trophies for race winners in each category.
The event is run in aid of NSPCC and we welcome participants that are collecting sponsorship, though this is non-compulsory.
