What do you think of these? - 15:10 23 Nov 06 http://www.skateattack.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=41_43&products_id=2017

hopefully the link will work.

I am so torn about what skates to get. If I am honest I really want to skate indoors and dance on them and that being the case these look like the right sort of thing but they are so different to any other skates I have seen.

Ohhhhh too much choice!!

Re:What do you think of these? - 18:31 23 Nov 06 I don't know anything about quads, but I'd go for the Ridells - they look like they're much better quality.

However, I wouldn't recommend just getting them without going to try them on first..

NEW SKATES!!!! - 20:30 25 Nov 06 New Skates!!!!!!

Yay!

What a mission. Train wasn't working from Winchfield to Farnborough so I was made to ride on a nice slow bus. Then train to Waterloo, then Northern line to Leicester Square then tube to Southgate. All in all about 2 1/2 hours travel.

When I finally got to Skate Attack it was jam packed with kids wanting to buy heelies. the poor staff were rushed off their feet, but when a member of staff came over they were very very helpful and knoweledgable. (Hmmmmm my spell chequer canrnt be working) I tried jam skates and hockey boots but the jam skates were just soooooo comfortable that I went with them. The wheels on them were plastic so they advised me to get some different ones and showed me a selection. The last ones he said were "Lighter" ones and I thought this would be good for dancing (less weight). 30 minutes later he came back with my new skates and wheels and said "here try them out" so I did and to my total amusment the wheels lit up!! Suddenly I understood what he meant by lighter hahahahaha. I can only see this as a sign that I truly am Tiinkerbell and I am destined to light up!!

I am changing my avatar to show my new skates and I just can't wait to use them.

It took me another 3 hours to get back and by this time I was almost fainting at the over exertion but it was totally worth it to try before I buy.

See you soon,

Tiink xx

Re:NEW SKATES!!!! - 13:48 26 Nov 06 Nice one Tiink. Mission accomplished, even if it took the whole day. Hope you don't suffer for it as you're supposed to be taking it easy. Looking forward to seeing the new skates. Seems like we won't be able to miss them once you start rolling.
