Oooh. I must have bought the last set from Proline last month.
Has Ed! still got the set he was selling last year?

Sorry, not been on here for a long while due to website restrictions at work. I do have the original FSK wheels available...£25 for a set of 8.
BTW, the Salomon 83as are actually quite soft in comparison to most other, e.g. Hyper, 83a wheels.

Oh, and in answer to the main question, I skate (outdoor only) on Hyper +G 85a. Some people find these too hard and prefer something softer. Unfortunately, the ratings aren't really comparable between different types (even within the same brand) of wheels.

Ideally, you want one set of wheels for outdoor (harder), and one for indoor (softer). And you don't usually want to use indoor wheels outdoors, then indoors again - apparently exposure to asphalt degrades the wheels' performance indoors.

Re:Wheels and wheel hardness - 12:53 27 Sep 07 Sorry, not been on here for a long while due to website restrictions at work. Hi Ed! No worries, I can relate after just changing jobs!

BTW, the Salomon 83as are actually quite soft in comparison to most other, e.g. Hyper, 83a wheels.I have heard other people say this before and I agree that they do feel softer however (with my skating style?) they do seem to last a lot longer than any other wheels I have tried!

Good info, thanks
