Glowing cones - 15:02 15 Apr 10 As mentioned at Skaiti,

Who wants to make up some glowing cones for night time slalom?

Loads of ways to do it, just need some semi transparent cones and some coin batteries and leds (see throwies)

I have seen the same things done with 9v PP3 batteries and a small bulb

And I have also seen it done with tea light candles and the tops cut off the cones to let the heat out.

300Ω Resistors 17p each in Maplin.

2032 Batteries are 2.99 each though.
