Skate multitool - 19:44 27 Nov 04 I'm trying to come up with ideas for my Christmas list and I would really like one of those Skate multitools, you know that have the hex keys on as well as tools for bushing bearings out etc.

Trouble is my folks don't know what I'm on about so I'm trying to find one online to point them to. I have tried all the online skate shops I can think of but none of them sell them!! Anyone got any ideas!?

Thank you, Dogsbody

Re:Skate multitool - 15:17 28 Nov 04 Try Snow and Rock High Street Ken. They stock the Salomon ones which only have one hex key so you'd better get 2 (£5 each is what you should ecpext to pay).

I got told in no uncertain terms by a skateshop that you don't need a bearing removal tool for CMax skates as the spacer is loose in the middle - a screwdriver or the allen key should be enough to wrench your bearings free. I still use the salomon tool though - seems like the right thing to do!

Re:Skate multitool - 19:47 28 Nov 04 Thank you, perhaps I will stick with using the two allen keys that I got from all my Ikea furnature (I have a lot of Ikea stuff!!) but the keys are exactly the right size! Re:Skate multitool - 19:53 28 Nov 04 Hi Dan,
the skateshop is right, i use a decathlon skate tool, and all i do to remove bearings on my Deemax is flick them out with a short allen key, it works better than the screwdriver method.
