... the trouble is, dogs can't talk so we can ask them how they feel or monitor what kind of phsycological damage has been done.

Very strange things happen to people after they suffer major trauma, one woman felt her life was completely ruined after having an operation whilst paralysed, but completely concious (able to feel the pain and understand what was happening)
*modern anasthetics paralyse the body and make the mind un-concious, only half the anasthetic was administered*

God only knows what dying would do to someone! Any married man should forget his mistakes. There's no use in two people remembering the same thing

Re:Zombie Dogs - 18:38 28 Jun 05 My boyfriend had a cardiac arrest and was clinically dead for about 45 seconds. Believe me, dying screws you up significantly and for long periods of time. I'm glad he's alive, obviously, but it makes me wonder how much more damage being dead for hours would do.
