Re:Live8 - 08:44 04 Jul 05 As an aging hippy I have to say that Velvet Revolver was a real eye opener for me. I'd heard their music but had never seen them.

They are a melting pot of all the BAD bands of yesteryear. I thought at one stage the organisers were going to have throw live chickens on stage to feed some of them.
