Anyhoo, I took him for his first physio today. He said it went well. Has lots of exercises to do.

He manged much better today getting in and out of my car. Last Monday, 10 days ago, he needed a fair bit of help, but hardly any today.

Well done Chris. Hope you managed to get a snooze this afternoon.

Progress seems quite good. Lots of exercises to do. Movement and strength is improving. Albeit I have to follow certain rules. (ie. Bed and chairs greater than 19" high when sat on. No crossing body centre line with repaired leg. No bending of joint over 90 degree.)

I can now do some movement around the house with one crutch, which helps for moving things around and preparing meals. I'm getting out for a short walk once or twice a day. Wound dressing has gone and I think all the stitches also.
