Re:Brooklands Community Park - 15:38 14 Aug 08 Brooklands is actually a pretty nice open area to skate. There is often quite a wind as it is such an open place, but the surface is mostly really smooth. There are a few areas where you could set up some slalom cones and the old racing track is great for doing a few laps. Corners are quite tight so excellent for practising crossovers etc...
I've only just discovered this area after being pointed to it by a friend, but if you are looking for anywhere to skate around this area, its a good place to visit. If anyone is interested I've been going down there on tuesday evenings after work - it would be great to see a few of you there!

Re:Brooklands Community Park - 01:57 06 Apr 09 Hi, newbie here! Been pointed towards cskate after signing up for the Marathon... looking for tips as to where in Surrey/London to practise. Used to live in Weybridge so know about the park but didn't realise it was good for skating! Live in Leatherhead now so not too far away, might have to check it out
