Protective Equipment - 21:11 01 Dec 05 This thread discusses the Content article: Protective Equipment

For me, wrist guards are more for stopping gravel rash than to protect the actual wrist. You can get "Sliders" which are like a cut down wrist guard for this use.
Can someone please tell me why a kettle goes quiet as the water boils!? - Twitter Status

Re:Protective Equipment - 22:13 01 Dec 05 I am not someone who tends to wear any protection other than sliders ort wrist guards. This is my choice and something that I have regretted on more than one occasion.

If you feel stupid wearing stuff, fine - don't wear it. but be prepared to still have scars 6 months later and to not be able to bend certain areas for a few weeks. If you moan about it, you won't get any sympathy from me!
