Yup, ICP = Instructor Certification Programme
To rip off the Skatefresh site...
"If you are interested in qualifying as an inline skate instructor with the IISA (International Inline Skating Association), you can qualify through the ICP (Instructor Certification Programme). Asha of Skatefresh is the only Level 1 Examiner for ICP in the UK."
Level 1 - The starting point and on this course you will acquire the basic skills needed to teach beginners.
Level 2 - This course is for those who have been teaching for at least a year at level 1 or who has gained a great deal of teaching experience. As a level 2 you will teach in a more freestyle manner and have the ability to more effectively adapt the teaching style to suit the needs of your intermediate students.
Level 3 - The teach-to-teach qualification. At this level you will learn more advanced techniques for advanced level students and start to train instructors yourself and certify them on behalf of the IISA.
This is a lovely idea! Little free libraries at the end of your street http://t.co/RqJesYfC Seriously considering building one. - Twitter Status |
