Re:Eastbourne Extreme '06: 22-23 July - 10:42 03 Jul 06 Right Le Mans is over so now we,ve got Eastbourne to look foward to. Hopefully I'll be able to make that but might be on foot rather than skates, unless anyone's got ideas.....maybe a trike ??

Re:Eastbourne Extreme '06: 22-23 July - 14:55 03 Jul 06 Spoken to a guy in Eastbourne, he reckons I might struggle with a trike as they are awkward and really need 2 hands. Anyone got an experience og a trike - I thought it would be sturdy so I wouldn't have to worry about it falling or leaning it up somwhere.....

Confused of Camberley

Re:Eastbourne Extreme '06: 22-23 July - 15:35 03 Jul 06 How about a scooter? Should be possible to handle with one and a bit hands, and you can step off it to abort the mission if required.
Regret I can't get to Eastbourne as I'm hosting Aussie relatives that weekend.

Re:Eastbourne Extreme '06: 22-23 July - 15:50 03 Jul 06 Ooh, say hi from me! (I'm from Brisbane. )

I don't have any suggestions for alternatively-wheeled vehicles, Red, but I doubt I'll be able to do the street skate etc, so I'll sit there and drink with you.

Re:Eastbourne Extreme '06: 22-23 July - 16:00 03 Jul 06 Ah, the East side. My relatives are from Adelaide. South Aus. My Mum's sister and her husband went over there around 1950.

Re:Eastbourne Extreme '06: 22-23 July - 16:23 03 Jul 06 Hehe...my best girlfriend lives in Happy Valley, near Adelaide. It's such a small world.

Another thing - I'm going to have to withdraw my offer of a lift to whoever needed one. My car failed its MOT so badly it can't be repaired (yes, another car to the crusher!) so I'll either be in a borrowed car or on a bus.
