Second Week Restaurant is at Chez Spooner courtesy of Sainsburys. That restaurant is usually very good but I hear they have a one armed Chef at the moment. Probably the Fugitive. Will let you all know the rating later.

Well that arm is certainly improving, only 7 degrees out now.

Sorry for the delay in reviews. Saturday 14th, meal at Chez Spooner very good value. Enough to feed 4 people but mcs and I managed to devour it all. The atmosphere was very cosy and quite. No other punters. Only draw back? having to wash and dry up. 9 out of 10.

Saturday 21st, after seeing you all at the Arena, we travelled out to Twyford near Wokingham. The "Horse and Groom" at Hare Hatch.

It was one of our favourite places to eat in the past. It was a Beefeater but with a nice atmosphere. It is now a 'Bluebeckers'. The meal was OK but the decor was the usual bland looking walls with modern pictures. The nice atmosphere was lost somehow. Rating 7 out of 10.

So where are you off to this week?
