Underwear !! - 09:32 07 Apr 05 Yes you did read this right, the subject of this discussion is - UNDERWEAR.
A side title would be - !it's surprising what you learn at a Fleet skating session !!

So yesterday evening there I was minding my own business, skating around the arena in Fleet, when I was joined by two of the guys for a chin-wag. After a while the thorny subject of underwear appeared from no-where.

The dilemma it seems is what is the best underwear for men to wear whilst skating. There seems to be 2 camps here. The "loose is best" vs "Supportive is best". So then we discussed the pros & cons of each and how M&S sell supportive mens underwear (it's not just ladies who require support!), and didn't reqlly come to a conclusion.

Now, the two guys are too shy to ask others so I've decided to champion the question on their behalf. Please post your responses, but remember keep them clean.!!

Re:Underwear !! - 09:36 07 Apr 05 Moved to the "Equipment" forum... it seemed rather apt

And yes, it was me that asked the initial question Does no one else have this problem of crushed "items" when weaving through cones!?

Re:Underwear !! - 21:43 08 Apr 05 You might want to consider something like Under Armour's Compression Shorts...

They look interesting! certainly for marathons.

I think I should make a poll for the site on people choice of underwear!

Complete with "moisture transport system" and "FLATLOCK" seams (7" in length aparrently!) etc etc.

I'm afraid my little misters get treated to natural ventilation inside "George at Asda's" boxers

Very little chaffing has ever occurred in such garments in spite of a few marathons

Re:Underwear !! - 21:57 13 Apr 05 Will trial big pants and thong and report on the result. Okay, I have no 'little misters' to worry about, but girls have issues of their own in that department! Je suis belle et ça ne demande aucun effort
