Re:Skate Lights - 17:51 17 Jun 05Good to know it works then!
had a look at the ones in MacDonalds and they seem to be the type you need to keep pressure on to make them light up, plus they only had white lights, boring!!

Re:Skate Lights - 19:23 31 Jul 05Just a quick note on skates light from little ole me...I know nothing about them!
Never one to be left out of anything pretty and Fun! Whilst in America I brought some of Garrity Y2 Fun-TastickŪ Battery Operated Glo Lite. This is what me and Red had on at Eastbourne...
Unfortunately it looks like you can only buy them in America (from your local Wal-mart ) but they are dead cheap (in america!) and Dogsbody did manage to attach them to mine and Reds skates with sticky velcro and they stayed on all night (even with a trip to the beach!).
They seem to work so if anyone ever goes to america and wants some skate light for future Roller discos but doesn't want to spend too much - this maybe an options...I\'llNEVERpostontheforums

There is one flaw that I can see with these lights though I'm afraid! You don't seem to be able to change the batteries in them without resorting to a hacksaw This is a lovely idea!
