Re:Le Mans - The Aftermath - 07:00 05 Jul 06 I'm only interested in LSST if it's team one. I need to get more consistent before that. ! Skate Monkey !

Re:Le Mans - The Aftermath - 15:35 05 Jul 06 You did gr8 stuff Merry.
In any team, somebody must be the slowest. You certainly did better than I could have. Especially in that heat.

Re:Le Mans - The Aftermath - 12:59 11 Jul 06 You don't need to be fit OR fast to come to LeMans. Some teams only did 30 laps! ! Skate Monkey !

Re:Le Mans - The Aftermath - 13:56 11 Jul 06 In fact, unless I misunderstand this: http://www.matsport.com/24hroller/ the team who finished last (592nd place) only did 16 laps in 24Hrs 16Mins. That's one lap every 1 Hr 30 Mins. Six teams did <= 30 laps altogether.

At that rate big man, you should consider a solo attempt. 3 laps in one hour, and then sleep for 3 Hrs. Keep that up and you have done 18 laps in 24 Hrs.

1 lap of Le Mans is about 3 laps of Eelmoor and apart from the start/finish straight hill climb it's all fairly flat. I wouldn't have said that Le Mans is particularly an endurance skate. Sure your legs get tired and you don't get a lot of sleep but it's mainly about doing a lap and then resting while your 2 buddies go and do their laps. I reckon you'll do fine.

Anyhow, you have to do it next year to aid my business case for a PTS from Mrs Solo
