Indoor wheel advice - 10:55 07 Aug 06 OK, now I have my sexy new 3VSL frames I need some wheels!

I'm saving the frames for the winter when we skate inside so I am really after some 80mm indoor wheels.

Anyone got any recommendations? Ed! I was going to PM you but decided to open it up so would love your advice.

Re:Indoor wheel advice - 12:05 07 Aug 06 Hi Dogsbody,
same dilemma for me, though i'm going to opt for a smaller wheel for indoors, probably go for a indoor hockey wheel or what ever conpbination of worn wheels that still roate, (i've got loads of these, might as well try them!)

So any ideas of a good make for indoors??

Re:Indoor wheel advice - 17:57 07 Aug 06 If you are happy to get nline hockey wheels try the following link:

http://www.hockeyrange.com/shop/index.php?shop=products&category=Wheels

This is the shop where I get all my Son's inline hockey equipment. They are fab and the staff really know their stuff. The shop is in Bisley but you can get the stuff online if you prefer.

No worries

To be honest, I've not had any experience with indoor wheels, but typically, you'd be looking at lower durometer wheels (under 80a). However, the compound will probably have an impact to, and I know some people who play hockey indoors using the pro250 outdoor wheels. I don't know how these compare to specific indoor wheels, so couldn't tell you much more than that.

I could probably get hold of some of the Hyper indoor wheels, if that's the route you decide to go down.

Sorry I can't be of more help.
