London Skate - 11:57 30 May 05
Hi, for anyone new to street skates a few things you should know!
1: stay behind the front marshall at all times. 2: try to stay ahead of the rear marshall, if you fall behind too often you will asked to pull out. 3: keep left, this is so the marshalls don't have to overtake you into oncoming traffic. (they need to get by to block the roads ahead you delay them and we all get held up!) 4: you skate at your own risk. 5: you should also be over 18, or with a guardian/parent. 6: Take a street map, if you pull out due to injury/fatigue/marshall asks you, you need to be confident that you can find your way back to your car or nearest tube, this is why they do not allow under 18's to do it, you are responsible for your own safety. 7: Have fun! there's great music, good company, new friends to make and a pub stop at half time!
