Re:Website upgrade - 15:10 09 Sep 06 don't know if it's just me but most screens are "split" i.e. I have to scroll over by almost a page width to read the forums.

to explain further... to complete this add reply / post I had a screen width of left hand menu and paler orange lines then almost a screen width of Post a new message " screen with the text box and on the r/hand side the top posters of the week list.

hope this makes sense!!! ??????

It's almost as if the overlay isn't working.

Again hope this makes sense. am not very technical as you know

Re:Website upgrade - 11:39 10 Sep 06 I never fixed this 100% before but it does seem like it has gotten much worse since the upgrade. I'll see if I can track the problem down From now on I am ROT26 encoding all my messages for added security - Twitter Status

Re:Website upgrade - 15:21 10 Sep 06 I had this problem some time ago when I tried Netscape. I was only trying it to see if I could resolve my old W98/IE6 logon problem, and as it didn't solve it, I just forgot about the problem and stopped using Netscape.

I'll see if my W98 machine still has Netscape on it, and try it again.

Re:Website upgrade - 16:55 10 Sep 06 Yeah, it does it with Netscape 7.2.
You have the links on the left of the screen, with the rest of the screen filled with pale orange with orange horizontal lines. (A bit like writing paper) This 'writing paper' effect is in blocks of different height over the cskate orange, with the Main Menu heading at the top of the first peice of writing paper, Site Help on the next piece etc. When you scroll to the right, you find the posts in a narrow and very long strip. It is slightly narrower than the Google Ads.
Oddly enough, it didn't seem to do this until I logged on!

CONFIRMED: If I log off, everything returns to normal.
