Still it was good exercise, fun to watch everyone's faces as all these loonies on skates went by, and best of all all that effort for Cheryl's birthday

I think all the Camberley skaters had a good time. We certainly enjoyed the after skate drink at the Vic !!

But this'll make you laugh.....

After we left the Vic, and I had only had one drink by the way, we got into hyde park and worked out the direction we had to go. As we skated along the path, avoiding people, we got to a bit of an intersection, and being dark and i'll I carried straight on at quite a fast speed, into what I thought was the path that we were on....but it turned out to be the strip they use for the horses, which is sand. Needless to say I went absolutely flying, must have tumbled over 2-3 times. Apparently it looked pretty good though.

Must remember that for next time. I'm sure i'm the first to do it, and I wont be the last either.

The batteries ran out at the arena on saturday so i took them off for the London skate, wish I hadn't now
