Berlin Marathon - 29 September 2007 - 20:50 08 Oct 06 I know it's 2006 but I have just been sent the date for 2007 so I thought I would start a thread and add it to the cskate calendar now

I would HIGHLY recommend this marathon, unlike other races that go around a track you have crowds of people lining the track cheering. There are literally thousands of skaters and a very flat course. I wouldn't recommend it as a first marathon (use Goodwood for that) but a definite second

Re:Berlin Marathon - 29 September 2007 - 07:23 09 Oct 06 It's good but a bit busy. If you're thinking about a first marathon, this is actually quite a good one (as long as you're happy skating in a crowd).

Times will be quicker than goodwood, and it's easier than any UK based marathon. In fact, this hurt less than Blenheim, which was only a half! ! Skate Monkey !
