Re:Street Skate - 28th Oct 2006 - 02:40 17 Oct 06 The street skates here in sydney are un-marshalled too. You do look out for each other, but I have heard reports of really nasty accidents on the WNS here. The WNS here is a sucide skate really, and well from accounts the accidents are people trying to do more than they are capable of. Speed is an issue here too, as there are lots of steep downhills; not being able to stop on these is, well, suicidal... :: In the time of chimpanzees I was a monkey

Leaving at 12 noon from the Arena Car Park

Weather looks like it's closing in at about 15:00 and I think we should be all done and dusted by 14:00 so come and join in!

If you have done a street skate before it will be about the same, not fast but not slow. We will be sticking entirely to back roads so there shouldn't be much traffic around. If you haven't done a street skate before then turn up anyway and I'm sure somone can tell you what it's all about
