From what I have read about these things, although the 'waterproof' bearings will offer some resistance to water ingress, they will also not be very 'free rolling'. The friction factor is apparently higher.
I think you have the Salomon skate, which would probably have been fitted originally with ILQ9 Twincam bearings, designed for skating. These are sold by skating maestro Eddie Matzger http://www.ilq9.com/moreinfo.html and are a good all round bearing, but of course do not have the full water sealing. These are sold as the Classic. There is also the Pro which has better moisture and contamination protection.
If you want them specifically for water resistance, then go for the 'waterproof' bearings, but do not expect them to be friction free or completely waterproof.
If you want similar bearings to the ones you have, then consider the ILQ9 Classic. You can get them for around US $48 for 20 bearings including gel and worldwide delivery. I think that would be about £25. Club Blue Room also sell these, but at a higher price.
