Since this all passed me by last year I had a peek at last years events forums to look for discussion and info.. find out how many laps you all did etc... Found Lemmings write up, very amusing and for me as a newbie was good to get an idea of just how the event all works and the whole trip generally. Most LOL moment was not at all sk8 related but the errr... windscreen quote (sorry Merry !)

There will be a group meeting on the Saturday night although we will probably have covered it all on the ferry on the way over! No worries.. I'm sure you veterans know what your doing! I just plan to turn up, do what I'm told and try not to fall over too much / get lost trying to find the campsite etc etc...

Altho I have had a whole bunch of silly questions going around my head like ..
Are we allowed to sk8 with personal music players...?
Helmets seem compulsory but will I be the only person wearing pads..?
Can we have music playing in the campsite at *sociable* hours ...?
Or do lots of groups do that and is it not worth the bother/ turns into a big noise competition.... ?

I don't there is any rules that say you can't skate with Personal Music players TBH
Nope you will definitely not be the only one wearing pads - Promise

Ooooo we didn't have music last year and TBH I don't recall anyone having Music - Not that I could hear......don't think it against the rule though - I maybe wrong..anyone? I\'ll NEVER post on the forums
