Re:London to Brighton - Sun 17th June 2007 - 21:26 02 Mar 07 Thanks bitwobbly I think you have sold me on the idea of not registering. Plus I wouldn't do it if it was raining, too dangerous on skates!

Smeg, what do I do if I get sponsored and it rains!?
I bought some bread this morning. Ciabatta? No, it was a fixed price

Re:London to Brighton - Sun 17th June 2007 - 10:52 03 Mar 07 I wouldn't worry about not registering if you don't want to.
no worries then I kno some other people who are entering so that prompted me to ask really...
Dogsbody,if you are getting sponsored you could say that if it rains you'll cycle it,

Re:London to Brighton - Sun 17th June 2007 - 11:53 03 Mar 07 I haven't cycled in years!!! I don't have space in my flat for a bike... one of the reasons I took up skating again! I bought some bread this morning. Ciabatta? No, it was a fixed price

Re:London to Brighton - Sun 17th June 2007 - 22:20 27 May 07 Right!!...

Lemming, what we gonna wear? How will we get to the start [1]?

Anyone else, anyone cycling? Anyone want to be pit crew [2]? Does anyone know the confirmed route for this years event?

[1] There is no public transport at 6am on Sunday and if we drive then we will have to train all the way back to London to pick up cars.

[2] Only if people fancy a day out, they could meet us with a picnic at a set spot if they liked?

Re:London to Brighton - Sun 17th June 2007 - 23:17 27 May 07 Not sure if I'll be around on the 17th but if I am I wouldn't mind being involved somehow - I should know in the next week or so.
They don't tend to advertise or print the route anymore and years ago ISTR the maps they did print were not much more than crayon drawings! Doing a trawl, I did manage to find this. It's not the official 2007 route but it looks pretty darn close to what I've done before.

Re:London to Brighton - Sun 17th June 2007 - 16:56 28 May 07 Me and Evy originally wanted to pedal it but after his car was pranged recently my neck gives me jip when cycling long distance, so he'll be a no too and I think he's on a stag do anyway. Transporting bike will be a mare too
Picinc is a nice idea, or better still a bag f chips on Brighton sea front _
