I have just sent this to the mailing list so I thought I should post it here too!
Yes the Goodwood Roller Marathon is ramping up for launch day! 
*The NSPCC*
This year we are proud to be supporting the NSPCC (The National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children). We're sure you have heard of all the good work they do providing services for children and families, raising public awareness of child issues and changing the law's to protect children. I hope you will help us support this good cause. You can get sponsored (more below) or donate directly, either through the website or on the day.

*Three Races*
That's right, we have listened to your feedback from last year and this year there will be three races of three different lengths. Obviously we are slightly limited to whole laps of the Goodwood motor circuit which unfortunately doesn't make particularly round numbers but we're sure you can round them up or down to impress your friends :-p
- The Full marathon is 11 laps = 26.62 miles = 42.84 km
- The Midi marathon is 5 laps = 12.10 miles = 19.47 km
- The Mini marathon is 2 laps = 4.84 miles = 7.74 km
Hopefully this year all members of the family can take part, that is our aim. Pricing for the Mini marathon will be cheaper and all spectators are now free of charge so invite friends to come and cheer you all on.
*Sponsorship*
Registration may not be open (quite) yet however that doesn't stop you starting to get sponsored. You all raised so much for charity last year and this year we want to raise even more. You can start an online sponsorship page through JustGiving or print out the paper sponsorship forms we have made up for you. More details are on our website. Please feel free to contact us if you have any problems or questions, we can pass things on to the charity if required.

*Posters/Flyers*
Available now and in three sizes! We realise that not everyone is online (such a shame) so please help us out by printing out some posters or flyers to pin up or hand out at your local roller related gatherings If you need large numbers and don't have a (work) photocopier to abuse them please give us a shout and we'll pop some in the post to you.

Registration will be opening soon, we are all beavering away to make it as easy as possible for you. We will post up to the mailing list as soon as you can register.
