Re:Goodwood Roller Marathon - 29th July 2007 - 04:58 29 Jul 07 Really, is there any hope?
I'm back from London right now, and the weather is awfull.
If you guys read that post before going, who plan on being there when? Like you dogsbody?
Coz I was thinking, as I really don't wanna start if it rains (I've tried it once, that was enough), if some of you take part in the organisation and have to be there early, then maybe I can call you when I leave to see whether it's worth driving there, as it's quite a stretch.
Maybe I see you tomorrow.
Otherwise later at Dorney lake

Re:Goodwood Roller Marathon - 29th July 2007 - 06:09 29 Jul 07 Cor the amount of excitement on these forums is awesome!

Myself and the other organisers will be there from 7:30am, yes we are leaving in 20 mins!

Your welcome to call if you want however all we can tell you is the current situation. You can see a weather report HERE, it now says it will be dry by 9am, should be fine for the noon start

Re:Goodwood Roller Marathon - 29th July 2007 - 21:07 29 Jul 07 Well I think that went pretty well myself

Just wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU to everyone that helped today (and in all the meeting previsously!), whether it was transporting stuff to Goodwood, arriving early to help, helping throughout the day or all of the above it is a BIG THANK YOU to each and everyone of you

Without your help and support this event would be nonexistent

We look forward to all feedback

Re:Goodwood Roller Marathon - 29th July 2007 - 21:07 29 Jul 07 Yey!!! a fantastic day out...... Big thank you to all the organisers for making it a very successful event. Good to see such a turnout, despite the iffy weather forecast. Hah it stayed nice and sunny after all...
And nice to see some longboarders to add a bit of variety. And I liked the awards at the end, was a nice way to round off the event. Looking forward to next year
