Use Tyvek, not paper numbers - they don't tear. They weren't Tyvek as that's expensive (and mainly for triathlons?) but they certainly weren't paper. We went in between and used Polyart numbers which are still waterproof and tear resistant and a little cheaper.
We like the idea of a longer race as well. We are trying not to change too much at once, this is only our second year doing this and it's amazing some of the knock on effects from changes. I have spent all day doing the chip timing results as it's now three races we need results for.
You can be assured we'll take your feedback on board for next year.... my god, are we doing it next year!
Had a very quiet, relaxing but fun time at Eastbourne Extreme. Oh I do like to be beside the sea side. - Twitter Status |
