Goodwood Meeting Wed 24th January 2007 - 15:59 16 Jan 07 Meeting on Wed 24th January 2007, 7:00pm at Rackstraws Pub.

Yes the big wheels of Goodwood have started up again! Looking at the 2007 event I think it's safe to say we did a lot of the hard work last year however we can't sit on our lorels (what are lorels anyway!), Goodwood have raised the price to hire the track and the chip timing company has over doubled in price! We want to make this year bigger and better than last!

It would be really nice to get a new injection of people into the organising groups. This meeting is open to anyone, it doesn't matter if you haven't been to a meeting before. We are looking for all sorts of help this year from the big jobs, publicity, marketing, sponsorship to people that can help us move and store equipment or help out on the day. If we all share this work it's very little each.

Please let us know if you are coming so we can get a rough idea of numbers.

If your worried about committing to helping or think if you do commit then you won't be able to take part in the event on the day then don't be

By showing up to the meeting doesn't mean your get bombarded with 'things to do', meeting are generally about discussing options and making the best event yet

If you can help with something and are willing too thats even better

But the more opinions and input we get from a diverse range of people all helps put Cskate on the map

Although we will be asking (probably) for help with the actually running of the event on the day, most work is prep work, or research into options (cost, feasibility etc) and work that can be done across one or two evenings.

Oh and if you think 'well I won't be any help' your wrong

I have the lowest IQ ever

but still somehow managed to make myself useful

trust me if I can help anyone can!

Oh and we are friendly bunch

We need more people involved this year to take this event to a new level.

Just come initially to input ideas, and if you can take stuff on then great. But if you can't or won't, then nobody's going to critisise.
