Re:Salomon FSK S-Lab - 19:09 15 Nov 04 I think your absolutely right, they do seem pretty identicle to the previous Crossmax's and I still think that the Crossmax & Deemax have so much in common that I almost wouldn't be surprised if Salomon merged the two!

I love the FSK concept in that I can buy different frames for different setups, especially now that I am skating so much and want to try out all the different setups.

I'm not quite sure what the point of the "alu-attack" is especially as on the old Crosmax's I believe this ment you couldn't fit the standard heal break or fit old frames.

I must admit though that aslong as K2 don't come out with anything super special then I'll be going for the S-labs as my first new skates in 5 years

Dan
I bought some bread this morning. Ciabatta? No, it was a fixed price

Re:Salomon FSK S-Lab - 20:22 15 Nov 04 But the most important feature is the BLUE bits!!

i must admit my trusty Deemax have survived many a hairy moment on night skates, but i'm just being a tart, Blue is good Red is Dead!!

Re:Salomon FSK S-Lab - 22:05 15 Nov 04 I heard a rumour that Blue Room had some a few weeks back. Not sure if they were promo or not. If Max Freeman is on SR.com he should know - he's sponsored by Salomon! Jagshemash!

Re:Salomon FSK S-Lab - 22:20 15 Nov 04 I've had all my skates (ice, aggressive and recs) from Proline Skates in Cardiff. They do mail order too but I always like an excuse to go back for visiting and picking up new kit!

Just checked the site...

Re:Salomon FSK S-Lab - 09:29 16 Nov 04 You guys just don't get the shopping thing do you ....? It's not about ordering them on-line, it's all about the touch, feel, and trying them on. Then you have the adrenaline rush coz you've bought them, and then you have the guilt trip coz you've bought them. Honestly, you have sooo much to learn.
