Just a thought, but wasn't the last meeting on a Friday?Think you're right on this one Drakey.
Come on guys!! Looking two threads down will show you that the last meeting was on a Wednesday!

Guildford is a bit far to go for a meeting as most of us are based around Camberley. I'm not saying IN Guildford, I'm saying Guildford way, as in the Guildford side of Camberley. Just the difference between going around the meadows roundabout or not can knock 20 mins of a journey!

What about the Arena Bar area? We've had meetings there before.Because they close at 9:00 during the week!!
I bought some bread this morning. Ciabatta? No, it was a fixed price

Swan in Ash Vale (hey - its between Camb and Guilford)Nice place, but I don't think it's suitable for a meeting. It's usually pretty busy, and you wouldn't find anywhere away from the rest of the punters.

What we need is somewhere that's not very busy, and preferably where we can cut ourselves off in an alcove or annex room somewhere.

Re:Goodwood Meeting Wed 21st March 2007 - 19:45 12 Mar 07 Yeah, The Swan is a rather noisy pub IMHO (sorry Han_man)

The Ely though would be a good choice, It's not really Guildford way but it is usually very quiet and have big tables to sit around.

Hmmm, we need something that is remote and away from houses I think!?

..although just having read down the reviews they arent great -tho they are mostly complaints about the food which from my experience is just typical chainy pub fare
