Goodwood Meeting Wed 21st March 2007 - 14:32 12 Mar 07 Meeting on Wed 21st March 2007 at 7:30 in Rackstraws Pub

We have a few comments on the pub being noisy at the last meeting so can I please have ideas from everyone as to a location (and time) for this meeting? Thank you.

We are always looking for new people to help with events and this meeting is no different. It is open to anyone, it doesn't matter if you haven't been to a meeting before. We are looking for all sorts of help this year from the big jobs, publicity, marketing, sponsorship to people that can help us move and store equipment or help out on the day. If we all share this work it's very little each.

Please let us know if you are coming so we can get a rough idea of numbers.

Quiet pubs ? But theres loads in the Farnboro' / Camberley area

I guess a large-ish pub is a good idea so the general punters dont get funny about lots of people sat around having a meeting.

Hmm, theres the Monkey Puzzle, Southwood way..

As for a location, all I know is that Wetherspoons (don't know how to spell it sorry!!

) has no music. The one in Guildford anyway. And if you go on a school night, you can go upstairs and it's quiet.
I know g'ford is probably a bit far for you guys but thought I'd let you know

even Rackstraw's is busy on a Friday night, normally it has been quiet enough on a Wednesday, but let me know which hostelry is chosen!

Re:Goodwood Meeting Wed 21st March 2007 - 19:02 12 Mar 07 Guildford is a bit far to go for a meeting as most of us are based around Camberley. There's no chance of me getting there for 7:00, but if it's Camberleyish, then 7:00 is fine.

What about the Arena Bar area? We've had meetings there before.

I personally don't like Rackstraws anyway, but it normally suffices for a meeting.
