Late Night skating at the Arena Sat 9th June - 14:09 17 May 07 I've rented out the whole of Camberley Arena on Saturday 9th June to run an event for our church called "The Beacon Family Fun Sports Evening".

It's supposed to be an event where people from the church invite families along for an evening of using all of the facilities that the Arena has to offer. It's running from 19:30 until 22:30 and has such events as football, swimming, badminton, squash, table tennis, trampolines, bouncy castle etc but most importantly between 21:30 and 22:30 in the main hall is ROLLER SKATING! As organiser I reserved the right to include my own favourite sport as one of the choices!!

At the moment it's just a free-form skate around for an hour but I'm sure we could sort out some slalom, put some sounds on and maybe even have a game of basketball! If anyone can suggest a really cheap and quick to set up way of running a roller disco then we could do that too!

Tickets cost just £2.00 (cheaper than normal entry!) for the whole night so you can come early and have a go of some of the other activities before the skate session if you want. You can bring friends and family too even if they're not skaters as there will be loads to do! Post a reply on here if people are interested and I'll try and get to a Saturday session with some tickets or reserve you some to be bought on the night.

Hopefully see you all there - it's been ages since I've seen everyone!

you can come early and have a go of some of the other activities before the skate session if you want.Ooooo, what times are the other things happening? I guess the evening skate will finish at 6:30-7:00 that week so it would be great to get some food in the restaurant and perhaps have a go at something else before 9:30. Very happy to hear they are bringing back Red Dwarf in 2009 for four episodes!!

Main Hall - 19:30 Footy 20:30 Netball 21:30 Skating
1/2 of side bit - Trampolines (with instructor!) all night
other 1/2 of side bit - Badminton/Volleyball
Squash court 1 - Squash
Squash court 2 - Table Tennis
Squash court 3 - Bouncy Castle
Learner pool - youngsters swimming up until 21:00
Main Pool - free swim + inflatable slide thing all night

Unfortunately the restuarant isn't open for food/drinks so it's just the vending machines or you can pop into town for KFC or somthing.

Glad we've got a birthday celebration on the same day too, Mitchell! Jagshemash!

I'm temped by swimming actually, although maybe not if Lemming and Evy are there as they are evil evil people on inflatable slide thingies!!!!

KFCThe perfect party!!! Very happy to hear they are bringing back Red Dwarf in 2009 for four episodes!!
