Re:Hovis London Freewheel - Sun 23rd Sep 2007 - 23:54 22 Sep 07 Remember people.....NO BIB....no joining in !!I really can't see problems with people joining in if anyone fancies it tomorrow

Well I have just plotted the route from Ravencourt Park.. 5.8 miles although we can take a nice short cut up serp road which will make it 5 miles

I'll collect you about 10:15 if that's OK. We are only leaving at 10:00 and we have a 5 miles street skate first! depending on where you park we could pick you up in serp road if you like!

depending on where you park we could pick you up in serp road if you like! I'll be in contact with you while you're on route. Either we can join you on the West Carriage Drive, or Serp Road if you're taking the shortcut.

Re:Hovis London Freewheel - Sun 23rd Sep 2007 - 20:09 23 Sep 07 That was a Wicked day!

I can't believe how lucky we were with the weather - it was a beautiful day in London and made it all the better I think I caught the sun!

The organisation was amazing! Sooo many people involved but so well co-ordinated - it was fantastic! and they didn't run out of Sandwiches

Had everything you could want there including Thames water giving out well water

The route was a little rough in places but the Music bikes were amazing..I'm just sorry I couldn't keep up with them (My fitness is SHOCKING! )

But I've had a wicked Day..Will sleep well tonight!
I\'ll NEVER post on the forums

Re:Hovis London Freewheel - Sun 23rd Sep 2007 - 00:09 24 Sep 07 I enjoyed that, thanks to Ken and the good people at Hovis.. I guess there is such a thing as a free lunch (as long as you dont mind skating/pedalling a long way for it..)

Was great to tag along with Firebrox too, the music went down a storm.

shame about the not very colourfast bibs! but then what do you expect for free

Re:Hovis London Freewheel - Sun 23rd Sep 2007 - 12:42 24 Sep 07 Very enjoyable day.

Pity more Camberley Skaters weren't there. You all missed out on a unique event.

Have to put in a claim to Ken or Hovis for a new shirt. Most the dye from that bib transferred to the back of my shirt. Seems it was a problem for the two of us who carried backpacks.

Re:Hovis London Freewheel - Sun 23rd Sep 2007 - 13:33 24 Sep 07 You can off-sett it against your free sandwich, apple and water bottles

Re:Hovis London Freewheel - Sun 23rd Sep 2007 - 20:14 24 Sep 07 Surely if they aren't colourfast then it will wash out?? Washing never was my strong point, I always play it safe when washing colours

So, can we get Goodwood up to those numbers??
