Re:Hovis London Freewheel - Sun 23rd Sep 2007 - 00:00 21 Sep 07 OK. I'm going to presume I can park in Hyde Park, and start from there.

This gives the option of joining the London Skaters and sound bikes at 12:00, or joining any of you coming in from Ravenscourt Park when you circle Hyde Park. (West Carriage Drive or South Carriage Drive)

Re:Hovis London Freewheel - Sun 23rd Sep 2007 - 16:20 21 Sep 07 i'm no going to be able to make it Not good Freeman!

Anyone have ideas on turning the word "bike" into "skate" on the high vis we have been given?

Anyone who is familliar with London have an idea of how *hilly* the route is?? in other words would it be roughly no steeper than a weds londonskate?Well looking at the route I would say pretty darn flat!! All of the embankment is going to be flat as it's right next to the water (water doesn't do hills if I remember correctly ) little bump over London Bridge and back (probably a bad surface too). The bit up and around St James Park is up and down a bit but nothing compared to a street skate (Hyde Park is higher elevation than St James Park).

I would say Sunday is going to be less hills but more distance than a street skate!

Re:Hovis London Freewheel - Sun 23rd Sep 2007 - 16:28 21 Sep 07 It's white printing so I was actually thinking Tippex may work!

Anyone want to donate their High Vis so we can cut it up for blank bits?
